although in recent months have been very involved in the preparation of the state, attention to issues related to the City Council has not failed.
more so because - past proclamations election - have matured some facts relevant political and administrative.

method - even before the substance - has been the basis of a strong controversy between the majority and opposition in relation to the formation of a new communal society called Brixia Development.
The haste and improvisation with which is reached this determination is quite sensational, but first things first.
1) Nell'assestamento general budget at the end of November, prefigured the appropriation of EUR 10 million for the purchase of 'ex Oviesse Mameli course in order to prevent the transfer of ownership in the hands of Chinese and to help rehabilitation of the area;
2) within a few days before the settlement was voted the council to rectify the act by moving from Chapter 10 million of acquisitions in the transfer, in favor of a new company which prefigured the constitution. 4) despite the doubts and legitimate requests for clarification, not only the opposition but also of the Northern League, the commissioner of the Financial Statements required half of the scheduling decision for Board of 5 dicembre;
5) al Consiglio comunale del 5 il Sindaco, che della delibera era formalmente il relatore e che però ai lavori di commissione non aveva minimamente preso parte, tornava a parlare di centro storico e di argomenti del tutto tangenti al vero oggetto della delibera; dopodiché usciva dall’aula, ove non sarebbe più rientrato per buona parte della seduta, incurante degli interventi (critici ma costruttivi) che si levavano dai banchi (non solo della minoranza).
6) la maggioranza in ogni caso votava compatta a favore dell’istituzione di Brixia Sviluppo e, fatti salvi alcuni emendamenti più di forma che di sostanza, respingeva i contributi del Partito Democratico.
Nell’arco di una settimana, insomma, senza il benché minimo coinvolgimento delle circoscrizioni e con tappe forzatissime per il consiglio comunale, si deliberava di fatto un esproprio delle prerogative consiliari.
Il Sindaco Paroli - nel frattempo - ha dichiarato di sentirsi deluso da questa opposizione perché - a suo dire - avrebbe un atteggiamento demagogico!

Queste molteplici ragioni ci hanno coerentemente portato a esprimere voto negativo sulla delibera.

Un argomento sul quale si è invece registrata una convergenza tra maggioranza e opposizione è stato rappresentato dal rinnovo della convenzione tra il Comune e l’Adasm-Fism (l’associazione delle scuole materne cattoliche di Brescia), in continuità con una linea di politica scolastica in essere da diversi decenni e in base alla quale la Loggia impegna ingenti risorse proprie per garantire l’effettività del principio di parità scolastica nell’ambito delle scuole materne (quelle sulle quali l’ente locale dispone di maggiori competenze).
In concreto, il Comune copre circa l’80% dei costi a carico delle materne, mentre il restante 20 % viene garantito dallo Stato, on the basis of Law 62 of 2000 on equal education, strongly supported by the then Italian Popular Party.

Di talché, anche nella migliore delle ipotesi, le risorse a disposizione delle materne paritarie saranno alla fine comunque minori rispetto agli anni scorsi.

A question - not directly to the municipal jurisdiction, but certainly a great impact on Brescia - I have seen considerable efforts in recent months. I refer to the controversy on the new timetables Trenitalia, which entered into force on 14 December.

Brescia, in particolare, ha perso i collegamenti diretti senza supplemento con Milano; il famoso treno delle 7:28 è sparito (peraltro senza che vi sia più un interregionale che arrivi almeno fino a Pavia); alle cinque fermate dei treni interregionali tra Brescia e Milano è stata in molti casi aggiunta quella di Pioltello; i tempi di percorrenza si sono dilatati; di treni intercity non c’è più nulla...
Non solo, ma il ripristino del collegamento diretto per Parma (da quattro anni la linea è interrotta a Torrile san Polo), che pure era stato promesso per dicembre, non è stato in realtà ottenuto.Tutto ciò però agli addetti ai lavori era noto da tempo, ben prima del 14 dicembre.

Certo, questo non costituisce minimamente una consolazione, anzi dimostra che - almeno su questo versante - l’Amministrazione si è mossa in ritardo e - per il momento - senza ottenere alcun risultato positivo ed è un'ulteriore conferma della poca importanza che la nuova Giunta assegna ai temi del trasporto pubblico.
